James K. Ball

Jim has been practicing law for sixteen years.  He is a former Deputy Prosecutor for the Ada County Prosecuting Attorney, where he spent five years prosecuting crimes ranging from misdemeanors, such as driving under the influence (DUI), to drug related crimes and violent felonies.  He also served for two years as the Lobbyist for the Idaho Prosecuting Attorneys Association, where he was involved in drafting criminal legislation and testifying in committee meetings and hearings throughout the state of Idaho.

Presently, Jim is a member in the firm of Manweiler, Breen, Ball & Davis, where he specializes in all areas of criminal defense throughout the state of Idaho and Pacific Northwest.  Jim has argued cases before the Idaho Court of Appeals, the Idaho Supreme Court, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.  He is licensed to practice in the Idaho state courts and the United States District Courts for the District of Idaho and the District of Columbia.  He also is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court.
